The WAVE 2014 will be starting this year from the Daimler Museum, Stuttgart.
This looks like a mecca for car enthusiasts everywhere and if we get the chance then I am hoping we will be able to visit the museum.

Team Electric Blue has the Open Vehicle Monitoring System ( OVMS ) on board.
Tesla Motors has made all car data available on its CAN-bus. An app e.g. for the iPad, iPhone or any Android phone can make the data visible at any time by contacting the OVMS server. Using GSM, the car delivers the data to the server.
The data-stream covers information such as:
On Saturday 31st May 2014, as a prelude to the WAVE 2014, a world record will be attempted to have the largest electric vehicle convoy.
Guinness World Records will be there to officiate and to determine if the current record of 305 vehicles is beaten.
This world record attempt is open to all 100% electric vehicles and everyone is welcome but to be part of the record the vehicle must be 100% electric with no additional drive. Segways and electric scooters are permitted but hybrids such as the Opel/Vauxhall Ampera, Twikes etc are welcome to join the parade but must be at the end and will not be counted in the record.
So, if you have a 100% electric vehicle of any kind and want to be part of a World Record meet in Stuttgart on Sat 31st May 2014 at 9am.
More details nearer the time and official details are on the WAVE 2014 web site.
Since the beginning of March, Team Electric Blue is very proud of being officially recognized by the organizers of the WAVE Trophy and is now listed as a Team on the WAVE 2014 Teams website at category Sport Cars.
A wonderful journey has begun, be inspired and follow us. There is news published day by day.
As you can see, the web site is coming on. It will still be changing as we try out some new designs and so we can only apologise if it seems a bit unstable at the moment. We have decided to launch the site early even though it is still not complete… at least that way you get some info early and you too can see the design progess.
Thank you for your interest. Once we get a little closer to the event I am sure the design will be finalised and things will settle down.
